Reports to: Deputy IT & Marketing Manager

Role Description:

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for organizing the school events and developing content for the business. This is a dual role responsible for both planning and executing school events and creating engaging content to promote these events and other school activities. This role is essential in enhancing the school’s brand and engaging the school community, both through on-the-ground event management and online content.

Details and Duties:

  • Plan, organize, and execute school events such as open houses, festivals, parent-teacher meetings, and graduations.
  • Develop event timelines, themes, and agendas that align with the school’s objectives.
  • Work closely with teachers, administrative staff, and external vendors to coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and scheduling.
  • Oversee all event operations, from pre-event preparations to post-event wrap-up.
  • Prepare and manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Be able to promote events through digital and print media, including social media campaigns, email newsletters, flyers, and posters.
  • Design or coordinate the creation of promotional materials such as banners, invitations, and event programs.
  • Produce written, visual, and multimedia content to promote school events, student achievements, and school programs.
  • Manage the school’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) by posting engaging content related to upcoming events and school activities.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with the school’s event schedule and marketing goals.
  • Use analytics tools to measure the success of content on social media and the website, making data-driven decisions to improve future content and event strategies.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the specific field, preferably in an educational or international setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creativity in content creation and event planning.
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of event logistics and budgeting
