Teacher for Early Years Class

Job Duties include:

  • Educating students based on school curriculum guidelines
  • Administering class works and projects to gauge and enhance the students’ levels of understanding
  • Educating students on following a school’s moral codes and behaviours
  • Planning and organizing academic events and activities, both in and outside of school property
  • Keeping the classroom neat, organized, and orderly
  • Create and distribute progress reports to both students and parents
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss a student’s progress

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bluebird is seeking an Early Years educator for a full-time position. An Early Years degree and/ or Montessori experience is preferable along with a CELTA/ TEFOL/ TESOL.

Job Description: HR and Admin Assistant

Reports to: HR and Admin Manager

Role Description:
Admin Operation Officer will be undertake the duties that controlling the school operation and assist HR and Admin Manager on tasks as the described below:

Details and Duties

Administrative

  • Oversee School equipment such as vehicle, meeting room fix asset, etc. and ensure that equipment/ assets are rightly use and returned properly
  • Preparing and planning for monthly maintenance and other expanse report.
  • Support in resolving any administrative issue as required
  • Assist in preparing staff retreat such as organizing accommodation and travels, etc
  • Working closely with other department and staff to organizing school activities such Parent Morning, Parent Teacher Conference, Professional Development Day, etc
  • Manage on security, safety, hygiene (Cooks, Cleaner, Guards) and office maintenance and facilities
  • Petrol on staffs, Parents and Supplier attendance Login and Logout to ensure for safety around school premise
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports or activities
  • Organize training sessions, workshop and activities for the department section in charged.
  • Update and maintain school policies and procedures
  • Any other task as assigned by HR and Admin Manager

HR

  • Support recruitment function for department section in charged by preparing, posting job vacancies on available networks, and organizing interview schedule, interview ensuring efficient completion of necessary documents
  • Assist to help for any staff concerns related to HR policy, benefit, and related document etc.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Administration, General Management or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in the specific field
  • Honest, highly responsible, and reliable
  • Good computer literacy (Internet and E-mail, Ms. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good at communication skills and self-motivated
  • Good integrity, positive attitude, helpful, high commitment, competence, and motivation
  • Good in English (Writing, Speaking, listening)

Teacher Assistant

Details and Duties:

  • Support and promote children’s early education and development
  • Assist the main teachers in making lesson plan and providing effective care,
    teaching and learning
  • Help with student assessments and progress reports
  • Provide assistance in managing the classrooms and the use of teaching and materials Maintain the main teachers’ daily plan and monthly directory and organize meetings
  • Assist the main teachers in monitoring and reporting of the materials related to safeguarding, health, safety and welfare of children policies
  • Welcome and supervise student on the arrivals and departures.
  • Facilitate and supervise children’s activities in the playground, library, art room, theater and outdoor settings

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student taking Bachelor Degree of Education and/or Pedagogy
  • Understanding of Early Years Education Curriculum requirements
  • Two years experience in Early Years learning and teaching
  • Skills and knowledge of the basic first aid and prevention of infection
  • Love and passion to work with children of different ethnicities
  • High organizational and classroom management skills

Khmer Coordinator

Bluebird is now looking for a full-time national academic coordinator to join our team for the new academic year 2023-2024.

Job Duties:

An Academic coordinator is working with the national program team to

  • perform daily academic administration
  • Manage placement tests for new students and give recommendations
  • Substitute the class when the teacher is absence
  • Facilitate the sessions during teacher professional development
  • Update the information to Khan as required
  • Lead monthly technical meetings with teachers
  • Provide technical/administrative support to teachers as required
  • Dealing with concerns or questions from parents
  • Lead Parent-Teacher Conferences
  • Monitor classes and provide constructive feedback
  • Manage teacher’s permission track record
  • Provide an overview of the national program to parents/clients
  • Assist in reviewing the report cards, students’ test scores and attendance
  • Join the meeting with the Ministry of Education if needed
  • Work with parents and teachers to address student’s behavioral, academic, and other problems.
  • Assist in updating curriculum and instruction methodology.
  • Assist in the development of training programs
  • Lead student’s fieldtrip
  • Assist in teacher annual appraisal
  • Proofread/translate students’ policies, staff handbooks, or other documents as requested
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
  • Write a monthly report

Requirement:

  • University in education or certificate diploma from PTC/TEC with good command of English
  • Experience working in public or private school
  • Knowledge of secondary education is an asset
  • Be creative, flexible, and open-minded to learn new things
  • Be humble and show high respect to teachers and colleagues
  • Have good communication skills
