Bluebird British International School offers field trips to all students every term. Our first field trip of Term 1 was with the White Doves and Red Robins to Urban Space Playground and Café. This was an educational and exciting adventure for the children. Every extra-curricular activity directly correlates with the current lesson material. Bluebird promotes education through the development of knowledge, skills and understanding. At Urban Space Playground and Café, the students were allowed to explore and make their own decisions in order to encourage independence. A key component of our Early Years curriculum and the IPC is project-based learning, and having the children visit an intriguing environment lets their creativity flourish in a safe, supervised way. We aim to develop our student’s passion for knowledge by showing them that learning can occur during activities that they enjoy. The field trips for the other classes will continue next week as we head back to Urban Space Playground and Café, Phnom Penh Climb and We Grow Gardens.
